DK Concrete LLC Warranty We offer one year limited warranty on all work. This warranty covers all areas of craftsmanship and finish quality of the job. We are not responsible for cracking of work due to soil conditions, weather, or concrete Ingredients. When work has been completed, ownership is moved to the owner. Cracks Concrete will crack and we control this with the use of control joints. For most applications the control joint will be placed within 36-45 sq ft depending on depth. Cracks can also form due to the ground freezing and thawing. We have no control over this and is due to the environment. Popped or chipped concrete Popped or chipped concrete is heavily due to salt from the winter months. To avoid this make sure that a proper sealer is place on the concrete during the summer months. Avoid using any ice melting agent on the concrete in the winter. Cars and trucks will also carry a lot of salt on to the concrete. Heaving Heaving is caused from freeze thaw in the winter and spring months. This is from sub grade issues greater than 12”, most of the time it is due to improper backfill from the builder. DK Concrete will make sure to compact and place class-5 to help this, but not prevent in the future. In some cases, you the client, will still have this. This will not be covered under our warranty. Warranty period: One year from date of installation Warranty excludes: • Hairline cracks, slight surface imperfections, i.e. rock pops, frost or freeze damage, salt damage and color variance. • Ice melting chemicals should never be used on concrete, flaking or cracking will occur if used *fertilizer can cause rust marks. • Possibility of cracks in concrete to be considered normal. • Concrete is handwork, puddles may occur. • Color can vary by temperature, humidity and sunlight. • DK concrete is not responsible for concrete cracking or breaking less than 1/4 in *trowel marks are normal. • Broom finish can vary due to shade and sunlight. • Not responsible for damaged or broken sprinklers, utilities, landscaping or sod directly in path of installation(Heavy or light equipment may be necessary to complete • Project and may cause damage. • DK concrete is not responsible for vandalism or weather once job is completed. • Any alteration or deviation from above specifications involving extra costs will be executed only upon written orders and will become an extra charge over the above estimate Sincerely, Dale E.
